How to Celebrate Christmas during a Pandemic

Holiday Vacations might have been canceled but Christmas isn’t canceled yet, and there’s still plenty of time to plan for that perfect celebration, from home! This pandemic year indeed taught us many things and we’re guessing all of us are used to the uncertainties – we hope!

Since we’re all trying to adapt, we’ve come up with new ways to celebrate without compromising the spirit of Christmas. Read on!

  • Send encouragement ecards: This is the most cost-saving gift because all you need is your creativity and genuine concern. Sign up for an account in Canva and select from the wide range of templates available. You can even insert your family picture under the Christmas tree, followed by at least five lines of encouragement. Ensure you got the email correct and follow up with a call to make sure they got it. 🙂  You can even include an ebook with it. Here’s one of our recommended new release: 200 Women Who Will Change the Way You See The World
  • Plan an Online Celebration: Sky is the limit with the online world. You can go for a Christmas movie marathon, Karaoke or simply catch up with each other. With food and champagne, of course! How about getting a Chocolate Fondue Maker – perfect for every occasion!
  • Call your Delivery Guys! You can still send your gifts through courier but plan it early – we recommend two weeks in advance. So, yes, that time is now! We suggest you send a care package with fun face masks and sanitizers, such a useful gift right? or a box of love (You use a shoe box to make this). Include letters, vouchers (movie night with you!), funny socks, chocolates, candies and whatever else you want!
  • Organize a Christmas Decoration Competition. Contact friends and relatives around the world and challenge them to a competition. Just because we can’t have them over does not mean we have to give up on decorating. Save money by recycling old Christmas decorations from lights to trees and unleash your creativity.

  • Donate for a good cause. There is still so much to be thankful, and if you’re reading this blog, that means you’re alive and well, and that’s something we can be grateful for. If we got something extra to give, organize a donation drive for the less fortunate.

The best way to multiply our happiness
is by sharing it with others.
